My mom is from Mexico; my whole family is from Mexico. This is a pendant that my grandmother used to wear for elegant parties. My grandmother got that pendant when she was fifteen, then my mom received it for her fifteenth birthday. I am next in line I guess. I have the pendant ready for my fifteenth birthday; the pendant traveled to the United States with my mom. My mom came to the United States in 2002 and two years later I was born. My mom said that the pendent was going to be mine on my fifteenth birthday, but I don’t want a fifteenth birthday party. My mom was sad but at the same time she was relieved because it is a lot of money for a fifteenth party. Today that pendant broke, but it's not a big deal; we can give it another use.The pendant is in the shape of a flower and is very pretty, in my opinion. This pendant made everyone in my family happy.
