My object is a passport. A passport is a square shape black its ruff. The object was made from paper/wood. The object was used by my grandparents when they traveled to the USA. The object is used when you're traveling to places like a new country or a new city. I don't know where my object came from but it has traveled. I learned what it was when one day I traveled to Mexico and I had to use it. My object can teach people about my identity by showing where we were born/ our background. This object makes me safe. The object is important because it shows a little bit of the history of my grandparents. If my object could talk I would say what have you seen. I want to know why my grandparents came to the USA. People need to understand that a passport is important. It can teach us why people came to the USA. well it is similar because other people in my family came to the USA to live. No, my object does not connect to historical events. I have studied that many people came to the USA back in the day to live better lives in America and so they can build families.
