Parmesan cheese is a cheese originating from Italy in Europe. It is used to top many things such as pastas, pizzas, and salads. Some people even like it just plain. Parmesan cheese originated in a region of Italy called “Parma-Reggio”. The cheese is supposed to be calledparmigiano cheese. Europe courts ordered it to be only hard cheese that can be called parmesan. I like the cheese. My great grandparents immigrated to the U.S around 1937, my grandmother told me they would make their own parmesan cheese.
