Old Family Soda Bottle

Abraham Levine, my great great grandfather, immigrated to American from Russia around the turn of the century. Abraham tried starting a business, but was denied a loan because he was Jewish. Eventually, he managed to start The New Rochelle Beverage Company where he made all sorts of carbonated drinks. His whole family worked at the company and contributed in many ways. After forty years or running, they had to close the business in 1964 because they could no longer compete with bigger brands and they would have to make big investments. The bottle above is one of the bottles that he used in his company.
