The apartment I used to live in is important to me because that’s where all my family moved to when coming to America. It’s important to me because that’s where I lived for a long time. Most of my family lived there and that’s where a lot of my family’s tradition started, for example we started a tradition for Christmas where you do secret santa with everyone, even pets. It all started when my aunty wanted to get together and celebrate something she really loves. I miss it because we all lived so close to each other, now sometimes it feels like we’re no longer a “family” because we’re not as close. Even though sometimes it feels like this, I know that we’ll still carry on this tradition and many others.
