Ms. Nancy Thomas cherishes the art and skill of sewing, a tradition handed down from her mother.  Her mother taught her to sew everything from quilts to school clothes.  Ms. Nancy Thomas’ mother also used this skill to teach resourcefulness, resilience and transformation, often sewing new treasures from things the family already had at home.
