My object  is  about Nino Dios, it means baby Jesus in Spanish. It comes from my Catholic religion. It's used for praying and protecting us and the others from evil. Me and my family use it for praying and blessing me and my family from waking up every morning. It is made of gold, frankincense and myrrh .
I chose this object because it says alot about my religion and culture. It teaches us to respect other people,  to help others in need and to be grateful for what you have in life.  This object is important because it's a tradition of venerating the child Jesus in Mexico. 
On 12th of December we celebrate Dia De la Virgen De Guadalupe.  It represents when the Virgin Mary, the mother  of Jesus and a very important saint in the Roman  Catholic religious tradition appeared to a man named  Juan  Diego in Mexico 1531. Mary is known for being Jesus's  mother.
