Over the summer, I started to work, to buy certain tangible items for me. While I was working it wasn’t easy for me, having so much task to do at once, being in put in places I was not familiar with, it was a struggle for me to deal with these tasks. I thought to myself “should I just quick and give up or should push myself to move forward?”. So I thought to myself of having a certain goal for me to to concentrate on, like buying new clothes, video games, new television etc. While thinking about my goals to accomplish, it made feel like I did not want to give up, I kept on going, I wasn’t scared to face new challenges to achieve. Working was new to me. I wasn’t worrying on how to perfect my given task for me to accomplish from my boss, I was just kept on thinking about getting the task done and go home.  Over the weekend I have received my check in the mail, I was excited for receiving my first check on my work I did over the past two weeks, I decided to use half of my money to buy things that I wanted to buy. Picking this wallet really does relate to my grandfather immigration story, where he wanted to move out from Puerto Rico, to New York, where he wanted to travel on how beautiful it was. But trying to get there at the time wasn’t easy, to try to obtain a ticket to get to New York, he decided to work as many jobs as he can to move out from Puerto Rico. While he was working to save up much money as he can to obtain boat traveling ticket to New York, which he did.
