I chose my necklace and when I look or hold my necklace, it reminds me of my grandma. When I first turned three, my grandma gave me this necklace with Jesus on it. Ever since then I never took it off and I because this item is very precious to me. Also, the reason why it’s so important to my family is because my family also got jewelry from my grandma when they were young too.
She gave us these items so they could be a reminder of her. Ever since then me and my family had kept these precious pieces of jewelry safe. Now that sadly she has passed, when we miss her we hold our jewelry tight and keep it close to us everywhere we go. These pieces jewelry came from Ghana, my home country. Ever since then me and my siblings kept these jewelries in remembrance of her and the love that she filled us with.
