This necklace was was given to me when I was 9 or 10 years old. My grandma came from Mexico; it was her third or second time coming to Minnesota. My grandma was staying at my aunt's house; my mom got a call from my aunt saying that my grandma was at her house. My mom rushed to the car. We   walked to the car like we normally do and got in. My mom didn't drive fast, she was driving normal. We got to my aunt's house and stayed there for a bit. They made food. My aunts and cousins  were all eating picaditas con cecina. We stayed there for about an hour. My grandma told my cousins and I to go to the living room. We all went in there. She gave us necklaces; she gave me a gold one, my cousins got the same ones, but some of them got different ones. This means something special to me because she never came back to Minnesota. It was her second or third time coming to Minnesota from Mexico. Now she comes on holidays to visit us

Place(s): Aunts house
