On graduation day my mother gifted me a heart shaped necklace with me and my Poppop picture. carries more meaning than just a piece of jewelry. It is a tangible reminder of my Poppop, who passed away last year and never got to see me walk across the stage.The necklace symbolizes his love and pride, a connection that transcends time and distance. He was always my biggest supporter, his voice of encouragement echoing in my mind every time I faced a challenge. Although he wasn’t there to witness this milestone, I can feel his presence in every moment, especially when I wear the necklace. It’s as if his love surrounds me, and I know that, in some way, he is still celebrating this achievement with me.
