My object is a necklace with a jewish star on it. My dad bought this Jewish star when he was in Israel with his dad for the second time. Many years ago my grandpa went with his dad and they bought the necklace, so it has been a tradition in my family. When I grow up I am hoping I get the chance to go to Israel and buy a necklace and continue this tradition. This connects me to my family because its a tradition that we all do and this connects me to my culture because its a newish star which is a big part of being jewish.
