My artifact is my grandma's old necklace. This was my mom's necklace from when she was a kid. When my mom was younger her mom, my grandma gave her this after she was done wearing it. My mom would carry this around with her for a very long time and always wore it. When I was younger my mom gave it to me. I used to wear it everywhere. I don't always wear it around but it stays in my jewelry box. This is important to me because it was very important to my mom and hers. Now me and my sister have it and could pass it down to our kids. It means a lot because it is old and rusted which shows how loved it was, this also shows me that I have to take care of the necklace.
