My necklace

Before we came here to the U.S my parents, my brother and i we went to my grandma’s house to say goodbye in that moment my grandma gave me this necklace and it came with a pair of earrings and my grandma kept the earrings so we were connected with this piece of jewelry, i also realized that my grandma had a lot for different pieces of jewelry, but i never saw her wearing them, my mom told me that when she was a teenager she used to borrow my grandma’s jewelry because she never used them, so that made me think why she doesn't use the collection of jewelry she has, well my aunt lived with us ,and my grandpa was always working so she was all alone in her house all day cleaning, cooking and watching TV so she didn't have that time to wear that fancy jewelry, she was in her pajamas all day  and the only time she when out was to the hospital to get checked, what I'm saying is that people have difficult lives, they work a lot, or they don't have enough money or they have diseases or illnesses and all of this people don't have time to think about wearing jewelry so they try to find a place that will offer a good life without preoccupations and i know that is almost impossible but at least have the opportunity to live a life were you can wear jewelry.
