Necklace
The last time I visited my family in Haiti my best cousin gave me a necklace. This necklace is special to me. I wear this necklace because it’s a reminder of the days we spent together. I appreciate my cousin for give it to me because it will keep us together even if we are part-away. I miss Haiti and my best cousin but that necklace keeps me connected to him .One time I misplaced the necklace, I was so frustrated about that, and I felt like I lost something important to me .That’s when I promised myself to never take it off. This necklace represents our bonds. It’s made of a heart that has the Haitian flags inside. He made it since he knows I love Haiti and our childhood we spent together. To finish, that’s the best gift I got from him.
