Necklace
I was raised in Egypt by my two loving parents. My parents were very religious and enjoyed visiting new churches. One summer, they decided to visit Jerusalem to see all the Christian artifacts there, as well as to visit my grandmother, who lived there. When we arrived, my grandmother greeted me with hugs and kisses and presented me with a gift. The gift was a necklace with a small piece of St. Mary's scarf as the pendant, which had been passed down to her from her parents. For three years, I was fascinated by it and took it everywhere I went. When my grandmother passed away, I felt so grateful for the beautiful piece that would always remind me of her.
