My family is part native American and from the Navajo tribe, I get this mainly from my moms side as we have relatives who live on the Navajo reservation. The object I chose is Navajo tacos, it is important to me because ever since I was as young as 4 years old I would eat Navajo tacos whenever I visited the Navajo reservation. And it's stuck with me throughout my life since it is apart of my culture and also because of just how tasty it is. for many years my family has made Navajo tacos and every one of us has at least learned a few steps on how to make it. At every celebration such as Thanksgiving, at least one of my family members makes it. its perfect for cold weather especially the fry bread.  I say this represents me because it shows part of where I'm from and how much this food has put an impact on my life, It's something so simple but it's amazing.
