My object is a CD case that my mom had with her as she moved to Minnesota with her sister from Kentucky. There sad parts to this story one the CD was lost after an unfortunate incident involving my moms car breaking down in the middle of Illinois and she had to ditch her car and ride the rest of the way with her sister. The other sad part is that I don't know who the CD was by. So that makes this project particularly hard, however I shall share the story of my Mother as she moved.
My mother had been living in Lexington Kentucky at the time when my aunt asked my mom to take a 750 mile road trip to Minnesota, she agreed. So after taking the long and arduous journey to the Star of the North it was a beautiful spring day the sun was shining and the sky was clear, (Little did they know of the god forsaken winters of Minnesota at the time.) and they thought “oh this is nice and then promptly decided to move to Minnesota, there were other factors too of course such as there were more jobs in Minneapolis at the time rather than in Lexington Kentucky. So then in 1990 something my mother moved to Minnesota with her sister, her sisters car, the CD case and twenty dollars to her name, They stayed with a friend of my aunt until they got the capital to get their own apartment and she's been here ever since of course she moved out. (of the apartment with her sister and into the house my family lives in now)
