I am 20 years old. I come from Colombia to get a better life. I studied at a university in Colombia for one year and been in the United States since 2016. I now study English in the evening, and I work as a cleaning woman in a building in Pittsfield. This picture is one frame from a video of me. The video captured me singing with my band in my university in Colombia. My band played a lot of fun and upbeat music. Signing with my band was my favorite things to do, and lots of these videos are kept on my iphone. I watch them sometimes to remind me of old memories. These clips remind me of my family and friends in my hometown. I really love to sing. It makes me very, very happy. Even after I came to the United States, I never stopped singing. Although I don’t sing in the band anymore, I sing in a church in Pittsfield.
