My Violin
My violin is important to me because I love music. When my dad wanted me to try playing in my school’s 5th grade orchestra, I didn’t want to try it. But as soon as I started playing, I got interested and grew to love playing my violin. Now I’m in eighth grade, and whenever I think back to 5th grade, I feel proud of how long I’ve played the violin. I believe that identity’s is based on how people see you and what you like to do. And no matter what I tried to do (swimming, tennis, martial arts) I was always the best at music. Music is a part of me, my favorite hobby, and many people know me for my playing and singing. I’ve been singing for over 5 years, and playing the violin for 4 years. I’ve played and performed music many times, and playing my violin always makes me feel so much more better and happier. Challenging but fun pieces keep me playing my violin over and over again, and I hope to keep making music. No matter what, music will always be important to me and stay a part of me.
