My Uncles Flag 
This is my uncle's flag from when he was in the air force. He was in the air force for 32 years, a 
two star general, and a decorated pilot who flew in missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. He sadly 
passed away in 2013 due to a plane crash, but his efforts in the United States air force and as a 
father to my cousins are not forgotten. From a young age, my uncle always taught me to not let 
fear get in the way of opportunity and he showed me that hard work and dedication don't go 
unnoticed by those around you. This flag holds sentimental meaning to my family and I hope it 
means the same to many generations in the future.
