I do not know much about my families story or history and for many reasons, one being my great grandmother. When my Great grandmother, my mom’s grandmother, mimi was a kid she abandoned by her parents. She did not learn anything specific about her family and only met her own mother once and learned she was Native American, but not much else. Later on she met a man whose parents had emigrated from Poland in the late 1800s. Together my mimi and papa had 8 kids, 6 boys and 2 girls. One of those girls was my grammie who met my papa and had 6 girls together. My papa was one of 13 kids, his grandparents had emigrated from Poland as well. His grandparents began a dairy farm when they came to the U.S in Medway. Since then the farm has been passed down 3 generations and will continue.
