Different types of Spices

My story is about the spices and foods my family uses . I consider my Mom a master chef in my book because she always makes the best food for me and my Brother . Whether it is curry shrimp or salmon and rice .I love to talk about food to my family and friends . Relating to my friends about the food I have in my lunchbox today is another great reason why I love my culture because school provides a lot of diversity. Being able to say hmmm this needs a hint of paprika or this would have gone well with some chicken soup, is just another way I know I have learned well from my family traditions . In Jamaica and Nigeria our spices come from fresh dried plants, vegetables, and fruits . My major dream in life is to become a great cook like my mom and Nana and maybe find a way to use my art talent as well . My grandma taught my mom how to cook and now I am learning from my mom , I am proud to love spice !
