My Petaka
My object is a Petaka. It's made only in Bolivia. In the Petaka, there is a Bible, notebook with a family tree, pictures, books and pencils. It has gold and silver to begin my own business. The history behind it is that my mom's grandma gave the Petaka to her for her marriage. It's very important to my culture. My mom's grandma gave it to me, because the Petaka represents my relationship with my God, to know my roots. The gold and silver represent my business. The reason why the Petaka is so important to my family and my culture, is because work and education are priorities in my life.
