When my papa passed away in November of 2022. He was in the U.S navy when he was younger and in honor of him they draped the American flag on his casket . during the ceremony there were other men that were in the service that folded the flag carefully and presented it to my mom. For our family to keep in remembrance of him. My older sister bought my mom  a flag box to put his flag in so we could display it in our home. Him serving in the navy is so special to me because he served the country i was born in. and knowing that he served was really special and i am proud to say that someone in my family served in the navy.
