My Guitar
When I was 7 years old my aunt bought me my first guitar. It is a reddish, steel stringed, Johnson guitar with a black pickguard. I ended up naming it Bayonetta, after the deceitful video game character. I bought it from a place that sold guitars and ended up choosing the dustiest one. I figured I would fix it up, to really form a bond with it. I really must have formed a bond with it considering every time I bump into it, I want to cradle it and check for any damage as if it were my own flesh and blood. Music has always been in my family’s blood. With a lineage of nationally renowned jazz musicians in the mid 1900’s, to me, music is something I intend to pass on through my family with this guitar.
