When I was about 6 or 7, my Dad gave me a little green beanie baby bear. It had a shamrock on its chest, which was significant because we're Irish. (confirmed from my ancestry DNA test!) On the package it said the bears name is Erin, which is also my dads name. My parents are divorced, and I would be at my moms or dads house for 3 months at a time, which is a long time to not see a parent. so this stuffed animal helped me remind me of my dad and my home.
