This drumset was used by my great grandfather, my grandfather, my dad, and now me. This drumset holds a lot of history to me because it's been passed down through the generations, and is the only connection I have to my great grandfather. While the drumset itself doesn't sound too great, it still holds a lot of memories for my family. For me, it represents how my family has been a long line of drummers and has played on the same drumset over 4 generations. The drumset was bought right after my family moved from Minnesota to New York. It tells the story of how we all shared the same hobby musically. I think the drumset can show how a family is always interconnected, even if someone isn't there.
