My Grandfathers Scarf
My object is my grandfather's scarf. My grandfather’s scarf is around 30 years old, and my mom took it with her when coming to America. It is made out of wool. It has a pattern on it, 2 colors, and signs of wear. (worn before).
I wear it to keep me warm and when I wear it, I feel connected to my grandpa. It is important to me because it's my grandfather’s and also it keeps me warm in the winter or cold. The 2 colors are brown and orange, which is funny because they are some of my favorite colors. I think my grandfather picked up this scarf when he was around 30 years old, he also got it in Russia.
I love the scarf a lot. It means a lot to me, and I'm glad to still have it. He lived in Russia for nearly his whole life. The scarf also means a lot to me because I know how my mom took it from Russia, to all the way here in the United States, so I can also tell my grandfather's scarf means a lot to my mom.
And that is the story of my grandfather’s scarf.
