This is my Grandfather's ring.
This is my Grandfather's ring.

My Great Grandparents bought this ring for My Grandfather when he was 19 in Amfissa Greece. The letter T on the ring represents his name Theodore which is also my name in honor of him. When he left to come to America in 1938 he wore the ring everywhere with him but soon he had to go fight for the Allies across the Atlantic in Italy. After returning he continued to wear the ring throughout his time at NYU. When he died of a heart attack in 1974 my Grandmother gave the ring to my Dad in order to keep in memory of his father. Today the ring is on my father’s keychain and he takes it with him everywhere and eventually the ring will be passed to me and I will do the same. This ring is important to our family history and our story.
