My object is a ring (Anillo),  it was made in Guatemala in the 90’s from silver.  I keep it because my grandpa gave to me. The story behind it is my grandpa gave it to me on Christmas. It's important for me because it make me remember my grandpa. Also, my grandpa gave it to me because in my culture jewelry has meaning. For example, rings, necklaces and watches because they want that you remember them. In addition, it connects to me because my grandpa is kind and friendly. I keep it in a special box and wear it only on special days. Now I live in the United States of America and I remember him every time I wear it. And it helps me to be motivated every day, because my grandpa told me to always fight for my dreams and to never give up.
