My grandfather's gun holder
My objected is called a gun holster. This was the gun holster that my grandfather used in the Vietnam War. It is made from leather and canvas. It held my grandfather's pistol that he fought with in war. The gun holster was supplied by the United States Army. My grandfather gave me this gun holster as a object to bring in as a artifact in my 8th grade class. I like to celebrate Veterans day with my grandfather in respect of his braveness to fight in war. This object is important to me because my grandfather fought in war with it. It connects me to my identity and culture because my grandfather fought in the war to protect our family and country. It is really special to me because he sacrificed his life for our freedom.
