Honduran coat of arms

This artifact is a necklace that was custom made for my father. His mother gave him this when he migrated from Honduras to the United States. My grandmother gave my father this necklace to ensure he never forgot where he came from and how it all started. My father has taken me to his home country and specifically the city where he was born and lived through his childhood. The image on the necklace contains the Honduran coat of arms. This necklace holds a lot of sentimental value to my family and is considered a family heirloom. The coat of arms used an equilateral triangle in its base; there is also a volcano between two castles. And behind all of this we have the sun shining bright. And the word Honduras written around the coat of arms. This necklace holds so much value in my culture and represents my identity. This necklace will be passed down for generations in order to represent how it all started.
