My Dads Bike, Rose.
My dad's bike is named Rose, and it was passed down from his dad to him. The bike has been in my family for 40 years. Rose is a 1972 shovelhead chopper with a hardtail frame and a pearlescent orange decal on the gas tank and fenders. My dad's family brought up the bike from California when they moved to Washington. My dad loves his bike so much, and one day my brother and I might be able to drive around Rose for ourselves. My dad's dad had it taken apart and worked on it for 7 years while rebuilding it himself. Rose makes up a huge part of my family's history, and I love that bike myself. My dad's bike made up a huge part of my childhood, and I am glad that he and I are able to share this memory about his bike together. One day, when I am able to drive around Rose for myself, I will always remember my dad, and his dad, too.
