Hi, I am Lucy. I am writing about my bassinet. You might be wondering, “ Lucy, what is a bassinet?” Well, I am glad you asked. A bassinet is something a baby sleeps in when it is first born.  My bassinet is important to me because all of my cousins slept in it before I did. My bassinet is made of wood and has pretty designs on it.
My bassinet is important to me because it has been in my family for 20 years. All of my older cousins: Emily, Selena, Micheal, Connor, Matthew, Daniella, Melissa, and Jack had it before me.  The bassinet has been in use from 2000 to 2010. I honestly don't  know where it is from but I know when Emily was born my Mimi had it there for when she got home from the hospital. 
After I was brought home from the hospital, I went straight to the bassinet which was waiting there for me. A question I have for my family is where did you get the bassinet?
