My 5 Years Old Bible
My object is a Christian Bible. It was made in Liberia where my family and I came from. The history behind this bible is that, it was given to me in 2013, two years before I migrated to the United States by an American organization that send food and other things to the orphanage. It’s very important to my culture that we read the bible to learn more about the world that God created. My culture is Christian. The bible is made so we can learn more about God creation. The American organization give everyone in the orphanage this bible because it represented them and they wanted it to represented us too. As a Christian, in my culture we believe that the bible is a weapon against evil spirit and bad dream in our life. We believe that if we come across any evil spirit and we show them our bible they will be afraid of us and go away. When I migrated to the United States, I brought my bible with me because I wanted it to remind me about my life in my country and my belief in God.
