Music Trophy
Something that runs in my family is music. I don’t know how far back it goes, but my grandmother is a great pianist and likely got it from one of our descendants. She would always play the piano for me when I was little. Of course, I have this passion for music as well. I’ve had it for as long as I’ve been around.
My grandmother would always play the piano for me and even made an album of old children's songs. It wasn’t until I was six years old that I started to play the piano myself, and I really enjoyed it. I got a music teacher and learned to play basic songs. I would play the piano for ten years, and here we are today. I’ve learned countless advanced songs, performed in multiple recitals, joined a couple garage bands, and even started pushing myself to play an entire symphony. I was passionate about it. My taste in music however was a lot different than most others’. I prefer video game music. Games like Undertale, Mario, and Zelda, their songs are some of my favorites. Even though I had a different taste in music, people still honored me for my skill. One day, I was rewarded with this huge trophy from my music school, representing all the hard work I’ve put into music. It was like a trophy you'd get from winning a championship in sports. From being a toddler who liked to listen to their grandmother play, to becoming an advanced piano player, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I like to look at my trophy and think about all it took to get to this moment.
