Many people have objects that have a true meaning to them. Music is important to identify my cultural. Music tells stories or showed the popular trends in a country. Ecuador and America are the countries I can associate myself with music is an important object, and may not be physical but it’s very special.

Firstly, I’m growing up with Traditional Ecuadorian songs from mainly my grandparents. My grandparents were both raised in the Ecuador culture which they shared with their children. Traditional Ecuadorian songs would be very “retro” in their musical industry. I can relate the songs to all Holidays I celebrate & family gatherings, which is every day. Everyone sits on the couch if they all can fit and watches/dances to the music. Traditional Ecuadorian music is my family tradition to remind us we are always Ecuadorians and should be proud of that forever. I also listen to American music. This music is technically a mixture of almost all cultures, America is like a salad. I have been taught to connect certain songs to how you feel. American and Traditional Ecuadorian music are both equally important to me. 

In conclusion, music is the best “object” to express my cultural identity as close to the line. Music is one way that connects to every memory and emotion. My cultures are very big on Music. Overall my cultures are part of my background, it’s my identity.
