Mr. Orue was 23 yrs old when he arrived to America. In Cuba Mr. Orue didn't see no future there. At that Cuba was under the dictatorship of Fidel Castro. While living there his family struggled to survive day by day. One day when Fidel took the guards off the U.S embassy Mr. Orue and another person jumped the gate of the embassy and stayed there for about 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks were over he was put on a boat to the U.S where arrived in Florida, migrating to Massachusetts finally settling in Queens where he met his future wife. He arrived in America with nothing but the clothes on his back. He brought to America not a physical object but his pride and bravery.
