This necklace has always been an important part of my mom’s life. Since she was around 9 she had this necklace and ever since then she has held onto it. She was first introduced to this necklace right after her family had moved into their new farm in Brazil and every Sunday her father would come back from work and give her and her siblings their allowance which wasn’t a lot. My mom really wanted a necklace for a present so she saved up the allowance and after a couple of months she had saved up enough money to get the necklace that she had wanted for a long time. So she went to the jewelry shop near her town and bought that necklace. She would wear it every Sunday when she received her allowance to go to the movies with it on! She no longer wears it but it still reminds her of the childhood she enjoyed and it also reminds her of her father.
