My Father's Coin

My dad was born in Ukraine. He was interested in different coins. He started collecting coins when he was about 7 years old. My dad’s friends that traveled abroad collected foreign coins as souvenirs and traded them for other coins. He got the antique silver coin when he was less than 14 years old. He also exchanged the foreign coins that his friends gave him for the antique silver coin. Some of the old coins his friends gave him were from the 19th century. The antique coin was from 1931. One day my dad put the coin in his pocket and forgot about it, and when he was 15, he flew from Ukraine to Israel, and discovered the old coin was in his pocket. When my dad was 23 years old, he put the old coin in his wallet as a good luck charm and flew to America! The coin has been with him for 30 years.
