Mexico-->California
Three out of five generations in my family all have one thing in common. At a very young age they all immigrated to the United States. It started with my great grandmother immigrating to the United States and still living to this day. My grandmother, at 20 years old, came along with her 10 children. It was a very tough journey. As kids, you have a lower chance of surviving when in circumstances in which they were in. My father is the only male out of 9 women. Even though he was one of the youngest out of all of my aunts he did everything he could to protect the women he loved. My family came to try and better their lifestyle. Since then, we have built our life here in the United States. Although one of my aunts lives in Mexico, and 8 of my aunts living 10 minutes away, we are still able to maintain a close relationship.
