This box was originally a jewelry box gifted to my grandmother by my grandfather when she first emigrated to the United States. Though it's original purpose was to hold jewelry, it is now known in my family as a memory box, and is where we keep things that hold high significance to our family. Inside, there lies my great grandmother's wedding ring, and my grandmother's wedding ring. There are also small wallet sized photos of my grandmother's children, and other grandchildren. This box holds what my family holds near and dear to our hearts--which is each other.
