Fresh cut Irish Brown Bread
Fresh cut Irish Brown Bread

Irish brown bread is an essential in Irish culture, also known as soda bread. It is a thick wheat bread characterized by its very hard and crispy crust. It is a staple in Irish breakfast and is usually paired with Irish pudding, fried eggs, fried tomatoes, and Irish sausages. Due to both of my parents immigrating from Ireland, I was always engulfed in the culture. My mother and father met in an Irish restaurant while my mom was working. My mother has made Irish Brown Bread for as long as I can remember, and she taught me how to make it a few years ago. Now I can pass on my culture to my future children and keep Ireland in the family.
