This family recipe is very close to me and I love eating it when I visit my grandparents. Around once a year in the summer I go with my parents to my grandparents cabin on a lake for a couple of days and they make this recipe every time. I have made the recipe a couple times by myself but it just isn’t quite as good. I have had some amazing memories at their cabin and the food is the cherry on top to make it amazing. My grandmother makes homemade rice crispy treats which are good too but not as good. I sometimes go to their other house in Florida, and that is a really long trip to get there but the pool makes it so fun to chill. Like at the lake they make the bake which is the perfect meal after a long day in the pool. This one meal has been passed to my grandmother from her mother and I’m not sure if it is an immigrant recipe but probably not. This meal has made so many great memories with me and my grandparents just because of the taste, who made it, and where it was made. I love this recipe and my grandparents. It has made so many memories with my family, this is the best food ever and I can't go without it.
