This Jamboree Sport used to be home for my family and I. We, a family of five, lived in a 31-foot camper van for three and a half years traveling the country. My dad was able to work remotely, and my mom has education experience and homeschooled my siblings and I, who were ages 2, 6 and 10 when we embarked. Our days were filled with exploring campgrounds, hiking, learning social studies and science up close from national monuments and parks, and sitting inside reading and doing math problems when it was rainy. In fact, I am proud to say I am a Junior Ranger in 108 parks in the US! This camper represents, to me, all of the most important parts of my childhood and my lasting sense of adventure. This sacred time living in such tight quarters is one of the only things my immediate family shares just between us, along with everything that happened inside and around it.
