I brought in a Lederhosen that was my great grandfathers. My great grandfather's father and mother came from Germany. He bought it when he went to Germany to visit other relatives. When my great grandfather got older he started passing it down to my grandmother then to my dad which is where it stays. We have a whole suitcase full of other Lederhosens and parts of the Lederhosens that either my great grandfather bought or my grandfather bought or that my dad bought. It united people in my family because they had celebrations where they all wore a Lederhosen. All Lederhosens are German and my family on my dads side came from Germany so it is part of my heritage.
