This brooch was my grandmother's brooch,she came to the U.S from Ukraine in the Nineteen hundreds, and lived here for the rest of her life. After she passed away last fall, my mother gave me this brooch that was hers. I don't know the full story about this brooch but I know that it was hers and that's what is most special to me.
