For my family cribbage is a big part of gatherings and brings people together in a competitive way. On every holiday my mom, dad, sisters, cousins, aunts and uncles all go to my Grandpa's house to eat a big meal. Before meals people would play cribbage at the kitchen table. When I was little I didn't know how to play but I would watch. When I turned 10 I was good enough at math to start to learn. My grandpa and my older cousins taught me how to play. After watching them play for hours I understood it immediately. Now every time I go to my Grandpa's house I have to play at least one game of cribbage.
