I moved to the U.S. from Bangladesh in August 2018. As much as I was happy and excited I was also kind of sad because I was leaving my friends and relatives behind. The day before our flight I went to see my friends for the last time. They organized a little surprise party for me at one of my friend's house. That day they gifted me this lamp as a goodbye memory. They said that they'll miss me but they also wished me best of luck for my new journey. When my friends gave me the lamp they said they wish I'll shine bright like the lamp all the time, even in the dark. This lamp means a lot to me as it was the last memorable gift from my friends with a sweet message which encourages me to do better every day.
